Growing up as a teenager in Chennai, India, Kaadhal was part of co-founder Naveen's daily vocabulary, and it's even more applicable in the present times. Kaadhal, a Tamil language word, translates to 'Love'. Kaadhal Double IPA (8% ABV) is an ode to the message of love, peace, and kindness to one another.

his beer is inspired by the personal story of one of our rockstar bartenders. Growing up in Washington State, Andrea would spend her weekends outdoors with her dad, Duane Alan Devitt (aka DAD), exploring scenic Mount Rainier. This laid the foundation for countless father-daughter memories and experiences. Unfortunately, Duane was later diagnosed with ALS and passed away from complications associated with the disease. This brew is dedicated to the fondest memories of Andrea and her father's many trips. For every glass and can of 'Ales for DAD' purchased at the taproom, Mighty Squirrel will donate $1 to the ALS Therapy Development Institute, which aims to effectively treat and cure ALS.
